The Costume Institute of the African Diaspora is dedicated to the study and preservation of costume, clothing, adornment and textiles from the African Diaspora.
We are seeking 15 enthusiastic young persons aged between 16 – 24 with a passion for art and culture to assist us in the delivery of our Heritage Lottery Funded exhibition. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to enter the arts world. Assistants will gain training in film and photography production, hands on experience of running a gallery, as well as administration training.
The role will incorporate the following tasks:
* communications including website content management
* exhibition documentation
* management of gallery space
* costume mounting
Salary: expenses only
